.Arnoldo Molina-Muller

CTO and Founder of simMachines
Bio:
A pioneer in developing new machine learning (ML) approaches, simMachines provides transparency to the factors driving the prediction. This allows them to answer one of the most important questions related to wider adoption of AI: Why did the algorithm come to this decision? One of simMachines’ target industry sectors is financial services. However their solutions are industry agnostic. Come hear Arnoldo talk about his fascinating journey to become an accomplished ML expert and an AI entrepreneur! BIO Dr. Müller-Molina's is an infrastructure data scientist and entrepreneur leader in the development of Machine Learning with a focus on Explainable AI. He is the founder and CTO of simMachines, Inc. and has been working for over 12 years on the technology that powers it. He developed breakthrough advances in the similarity method enabling the application of the technology to large data sets in high dimensions, non-Euclidean analysis, and non-metric analysis, all at speed and scale. Before starting simMachines he was a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine and he was also a data engineer at Intel. Dr. Müller-Molina’s pioneering work in similarity has led to numerous awards including MIT Technology Review TR35 Innovators Under 35 and the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator for Machine Learning in Seattle. During summer 2017 he will be part of the Global Impact Challenge at Singularity University applying A.I. to climate change.
